New report from The Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention about unlawful influence in sports
15 March 2018The Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention has published the report “Combating unlawful influence in sports”. The report summarizes a study carried out in association with the Swedish Sports Confederation about harassment, threats, violence and corruption in sports, with special attention given to unlawful influence.
At the end of the report concrete suggestions regarding how associations can work with corruption risks are given. One of the proposal is to develop guidelines with the aim to help decide where and when to draw boundaries. In the report, the two joint agreements developed with the support of IMM within the sector for health and social care and personal assistance and the construction and property sector are named as sources of inspirations for such guidelines.
