Many companies positive to anonymous whistleblowers

Many companies would welcome a statutory requirement guaranteeing anonymity to whistleblower according to a new survey conducted by IMM concerning attitudes to whistleblowing in the business sector.

The survey, called “Breaking the silence”, was answered by different sized enterprises and included questions concerning businesses use of whistleblowing systems as well as questions regarding the new whistleblowing legislation which entered into force in Sweden in January of 2017, and the new EU-directive on data protection.
